2. Accounts & Registration
2.1 Sign-in via Google
Daycite uses Google OAuth for authentication. By signing in with Google, you authorize us to access your basic profile information (name, email address, and profile picture) as provided by Google. We do not store your Google password.
2.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Google account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. Daycite is not liable for any losses or damages arising from unauthorized access to your account.
2.3 Age Requirement
You must be at least 13 years old to use Daycite. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
3. User Content
3.1 Your Data
You retain full ownership of all data you input into Daycite, including habit logs, notes, and preferences ("User Content"). We do not claim any ownership rights over your User Content.
3.2 Data Storage
We store your User Content securely to provide the Service to you. You can delete your data at any time by removing habits or deleting your account.
3.3 Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your User Content with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is private to you unless you choose to share it.
4. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others
- Upload malicious code or content
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Use automated systems to access the Service (bots, scrapers, etc.)
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Daycite's IP
All intellectual property in the Service, including the Daycite name, logo, design, code, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by Daycite and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
5.2 License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial purposes. This license is revocable at any time.
6. Termination
You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The Service will meet your requirements
- The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- Results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Daycite shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the previous 12 months.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
